I am sad to say that the reason that I've been MIA on blogging is that I've been out of town with my very ill mother this past month.
She was very ill, then got the news from the Dr while I was there that it is Cancer. That awful, dreaded word.
It is Stage 4 and has spread to almost every organ and there is no treatment when it is this advanced.
She made the choice to go home and have Hospice care and I'm numb that I can't be with her and helping get her the meds that would be making her better.

Lisa, I know exactly how you feel. I spent most of last year with my mother and her cancer. If she has the will to live, make sure she does NOT go into the hospice house at the end. My mother did not receive any fluids in an IV (they do not give IV's)and she eventually just died from dehydration, along with the cancer. Just my thoughts for you.
